A second of stillness, except for the pedestrian, who is rushing home under her umbrella… The cabs stopped just for a moment and are watching
the snow flakes that are magically falling down in their own pace…But it’s a poised stillness…the cabs like great cats are ready to pounce. Thanks to a special Art Lover Friend of mine for the inspiration in the description… Beautiful city lights reflect on the wet roads which adds a special romantic effect to the painting. This is one of my best artworks so far, to my mind. It took me around 1 month to create.
With this painting I wanted to show that NYC is fascinating just like it is with its lights, shops, people, yellow cabs and rainy days.
Please note the colors might differ depending on your monitor settings. I made the pictures at the daytime inside and outside and they change depending on the light.
