A modern Abstract Expressionist Couple Oil Impasto Painting represents two lovers kissing each other. Like Cupid and Psyche, their love is pure, all pains, sorrows, and challenges will align to ensure that the love is realized. I created this impasto painting with oil paints on artistic stretched canvas. I used a unique technique of a palette knife. The artwork has heavy texture, you can feel the strokes by touching the painting.
The contrast colors – blue and red, represent love and difference in emotions of a woman and a man. Often in life, women are more emotional, passionate while men are calmer and pragmatic. In my painting, I depict the lady in flames from the feelings that fill her up. On the contrary, a man, even if he loves her, is colder. But they both fulfill each other and create a perfect balance.

About the Artist
I love traveling and I depict what I observe around the globe with cityscapes being my favorite muse. But I am not limited to cities. I love to paint ballerinas, animals, landscapes. Anything that inspires me at a certain moment.
My Cityscape painting has been published in the January 2023 issue of the UK magazine “World of Interiors” by Conde Nast. Much appreciated by art collectors, I wish to share my artistic passion with others: in my eyes, painting makes a house a home.
