About the Artist
Born in a small town not far from a metropolis, it is the nature and urban landscapes that have always fascinated me the most. I travel a lot, and this is where I get a lot of inspiration. My art depicts what I observe around the globe. Finally, as a reminder of my childhood in a quite humid climate, the representation of night rains in big cities remains my favorite subject but not limited to. Using oil paint on canvas, I bring my vision of the world to life in a figurative and majestic way.
At first rather cold, the colors I use are gradually becoming warm and fanned under my brushstrokes and palette knife. This technique adds abstract effects that bring unique vibrations to my paintings and often drape them with a veil of melancholy. Much appreciated by art collectors, I wish to share my artistic passion with others: in my eyes, painting makes a house a home.
